When I first saw this tractor I thought to myself is this thing even worth $500, then when it was cranked and fired on
the first crank, I was hooked and thought I could restore this into a show tractor with a little TLC.
Thought I'd give you a little background on myself for some light reading. I am originally from a small town in
northwest Iowa called Terril, just south and east of the Iowa Great Lakes. I went to a small community school in Terril
where I graduated with 16 other students. From there I went into the U.S. Air Force and was in there for 8 years and
that is where I met my wife Tammy (she's from Kentucky). I spent a few years in Valdosta, GA, then moved to Tacoma,
Washington for a few years, then to Kunsan AB, South Korea. My wife and I have both been in the later end of the 1st
Gulf War. From there we moved to Kentucky where I now work for the Department of Corrections as a Correctional
Officer at a medium security prison that houses 1250 inmates. I have 1 daughter (Allison) who is my life along with
my wife. Yep, I'd put them before the Allis, gotta have priorities.

Just pulled into the shop...kind of messy,
don't look.

What a job!
Someone has painted this tractor to what I believe looks like Minneapolis-Moline yellow and painted the trans housing John
Deere Green(out of all things on an Allis).

THE GOAL
I'm hoping to have this done by our Casey County Apple Festival which takes play in September of 2008, perhaps by June
2008 for an annual threshing and tractor show in Adair County Kentucky.
If you have any comments or suggestion for the website or restoration let me know.
